CONTACT LENS ASSESSMENTS
Contact lenses are applied directly to the eyes so it's incredibly important that they are used safely.
We ensure all of our patients are eligible for contact lenses with a comprehensive assessment. Your eyes will be thoroughly tested to see which type of lens will offer you the best vision and health.
This includes a vision and fit test with the recommended contact lenses. Your optometrist will also ask you how you want to use your lenses and explain the different options available for permanent and occasional use.
THE DIFFERENT TYPES OF CONTACT LENSES
There are many types of lenses available with options for different eyes and preferences.
Depending on your routine, there are daily disposables that are especially easy to use or extended wear options that only need to be replaced once or twice a month.
Rigid gas-permeable lenses are useful for more complex prescriptions and certain eye conditions. We also offer specialist lenses, which your optometrist will recommend if they are right for your case.
MYOPIA CONTROL CONTACT LENSES
Myopia control contact lenses are a type of specialist lens designed to correct shortsighted vision while slowing down its effects over time. Myopic vision gets worse as your age, but using these lenses drastically slows down its progression.
These lenses are specially designed for myopia, so they will provide you with clear and comfortable vision as well. For children and teenagers, we offer MiSight contact lenses by Coopervision. These specialist lenses provide exceptional vision, while also effectively slowing down the progression of myopia in young people.

AFTERCARE & ADVICE
Aftercare appointments are required to maintain healthy eyes and perfect vision. These check-ups ensure your prescription is up-to-date and look at the health of your eyes.
If you are experiencing any discomfort while wearing your contact lenses or having trouble applying or removing them, your optometrist can help you with that as well.
